Studio Memberships

Keep Creating at Dock 6

You’ve learned the fundamentals. Now give yourself the time, tools, and studio space to keep practicing.

A Dock 6 membership is designed for beginner and intermediate potters who have completed a weekly class with us and are ready to work more independently. You’ll have room to develop your skills, store your work, and create alongside a welcoming community of fellow clay enthusiasts

Is Membership Right for You?

Dock 6 memberships are intended for beginner and intermediate potters who want to practice and improve their skills and not for commercial production.

Before applying, you must have completed at least one weekly three-, four-, or six-week pottery class at Dock 6.

One-day workshops and events, including Clay Date, Wine Night, and handbuilding workshops, do not fulfill this requirement.

Members should also be comfortable:

  • Working independently without an instructor

  • Creating in a shared studio rather than a private workspace

  • Working respectfully alongside other members

  • Cleaning their workspace, tools, and equipment after each visit.

Your Studio Away from Home

Each three-month membership includes:

  • Studio access during regular open hours

  • One full 48" × 18" shelf for works in progress

  • Access to a variety of Cone 6 glazes, tools, and the slab roller

  • Bisque firing to Cone 04 and glaze firing to Cone 6 through our scheduled classroom kiln firings

  • A 15% discount on all Dock 6 classes

  • A cozy, shared studio filled with fellow clay enthusiasts
