Weekly Classes (16+):

  • The date you select and submit payment for will be the first session of your 3 or 6 week class. Classes will meet with their instructor weekly at the same time. 
  • These classes will show students how to make, decorate and glaze their very own pottery. It’s a great way to experience the full ceramic process with guided instructions. 
  • Class fee comes everything you need! Students will have access to clay, tools and a variety of Cone 6 glazes! 
  • This is not open studio time, classes involve demos, step by step guidance of the process and individual work time. All students will assist with clean up at the end of class.

  • These weekly classes also include one free rescheduling class in case somethings comes up and you can’t make it to one of the class sessions. 3 Week - Intro-Beginner:

Pottery Wheel + Handbuilding

(Max 8 participants per class)

Three x 2h class sessions

Have you ever wanted to take a pottery class? This short and simple 3 week class makes it easy for folks with busy schedules!

Learn the basics about wheel throwing and the ceramic process from start to finish. Each week will focus on a different step of making ceramics.

Class Schedule:

Week 1- Intro to Throwing: demos + step by step instruction, individual work time, clean-up (last 15-20 minutes of class)

Week 2- Intro to Trimming + Handbuilding: demos + individual work time, clean up

Week 3-Intro to Glazing: demos + individual work time, clean up

Each student can make a maximum of 10 pieces.

6 Week -Beginner-Intermediate:

Pottery Wheel + Handbuilding

*Recommended after completing 1-2 intro/beginner classes

Six x 2h class sessions

Have you taken a pottery class and want to keep improving your skills and the over all ceramic process? Take this class to learn to control the clay better and challenge your form making!

Students can experience self directed lessons for the first 4 days allowing them to dive into areas that they want to focus on, whether it be, practicing to throw new forms, mastering handles, exploring slips or other surface techniques!

Each class is 2h long, meeting each week for six times.

Class Schedule:

Week 1: Throwing, Week 2-4: Trimming + Throwing,

Week 5: Trimming + Handbuilding, Week 6: Glazing

Each student can make a maximum of 30 pieces with the largest amount of clay being 4 pounds.
